After the 2007 hit Om Shanti Om, good friends Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone (who made her debut in the film), Farah Khan and Manish Malhotra teamed up once again for a song in Chennai Express. The romantic number was shot in Wai, between December 24 and 26. However, we have now learned that the four of them will work on another song for the film very soon.
“Farah is yet to complete the first song. There’s a day or two’s work left, which she will wrap up in February. But now, Shah Rukh wants her to choreograph another number with him and Deepika,” says an insider close to the project. Apparently, Farah hasn’t even heard the second song yet because it’s still being mixed in the studio. “But since SRK personally asked Farah, she will definitely do it,” adds the source.
Apparently nothing has been finalised yet, not even the venue or the dates. “But in all probability, it will be shot after March,” says the insider. For the uninitiated, Farah is also going to direct SRK in their upcoming project, Happy New Year that will go on floors later this year.
When we contacted Farah about choreographing the second song in Chennai Express, she told us, “Let’s please wait and watch. I can’t say anything right now.”
