Here’s a sneak peek of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much talked about film starring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles
In what can be called a reflection of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s stringent shooting schedules and gruesome workshops for his next, we spotted a tormented Deepika Padukone on the sets of the director’s forthcoming venture Ramleela. Here’s a sneak peek of SLB’s magnum opus – the rustic Indian version of Romeo Juliet – starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. For this ambitious production, we hear, Bhansali had made the lead pair of the film go through some demanding workshops. Both Dippy and Ranveer used to rehearse their scenes and dance moves everyday for close to 18 hours. As if that tormenting schedule was not enough, we see the leading lady of the film Dippy being tortured in a scene.
In the pictures we got straight from the sets of this larger-than-life saga, we see Dippy wading through the crowded by-lanes of what looks like a Haryanvi small-town or a Rajasthani city. We also see a group of local goons and thugs pushing Deepika around before she is thrown on the streets. After getting that shot right, we spotted both Ranveer and Deepika deeply engaged in a thoughtful conversation. While the leggy lass looks elegant in her royal outfit, Ranveer is dashing in his thick moustached avatar.
